Q1) What sholud I do to start a backup ?

Once you have downloaded the joomla mod_apexCB Backup and restore module, Go to the module manager, select "apexCB" and in parameters section provide all the parameters and enable the module.

Note:- You need to leagally download the module and register on this site or this module will not work.

For Wordpress, after downloading the apexcb_plug.zip file extract the zip contents in wp-content/plugin folder of your wordpress site and go to plugin section in your administrator section and activate the plugin. Once activated, go to Apexcb_plug menu and provide all options details ,save and all is done.

Q2) How do I restore a Site from a backup ?

Once backup of your site and database is done, the apexCB module/plugin will send a mail to the provided email id(email id provided in module/plugin parameters section).This mail will contain a restore link just click on the link once and your entire site will be restored in seconds.


Q3) I get a message "Provide Parameters" in Joomla what does that mean ?

Please do not rush while setting up the module, the above message states that you have provide no or wrong parameters in module parameters section of apexCB module.


Q4) I get a message "Invalid User" what does that mean ?

There might be any of below reason for it

1) You might have not purchased a legal version of the module from our site.

2) You might have not paid the monthly subscribtion of the module.

3) You might have not registered on our site as stated in Q1 or have provided wrong
registration details.


Q5) How can i download backups to my local pc ?

Once backup of your site and database is done the apexCB module/plugin will send a mail to the provided email id(email id provided in module parameters).This mail contains all download links.


Q6) Does the restore link provided in email restore the database ?

No, Only website is restored. User must manually performing restoring of database process by downloading the database backup using the download link in the email.

Q7) I get a email stating Invalid user/not a subcribed user even though I have subcribed for the Apexcb plugin ?

Just deactivate the plugin and reactivate it and the problem will be solved.

Q8) ApexCB plugin is not working ?

Please do check out that you have provided all details in the module/plugin parameters in Joomla/Wordpress .

Note :- Until you provide all the all details in the module/plugin parameters in Joomla/Wordpress the module/plugin will not work.
